Our Team
Dr. Virginia Williams
After graduating from Melbourne University, Dr. Virginia Williams moved to Ballarat in 1997, having lived near Ballarat (in Myrniong) as a child. Virginia established her practice in 2007 and has enjoyed living and working in Ballarat ever since.
Her goal is for patients to be healthier and feel better about themselves, using dentistry to achieve that outcome. Since graduating, Virginia has continued to develop her skills in a range of related fields, particularly relating to kids. She is a member of the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry. She has done additional studies in orthodontics (straightening teeth), endodontics (treating nerve-damaged and infected teeth), and prosthodontics (fixing damaged or missing teeth).
Outside of work, Virginia enjoys spending time with her family, sailing, gardening and visiting galleries.
Dr. Mario Cordioli
Dr. Mario Cordioli has settled into Ballarat as a general dentist and enjoys the beautiful surrounds and gentle lifestyle.
Mario moved to Australia from Brazil, where he completed both his undergraduate and post-graduate training, focussing on gums and implants. He has special interest and experience in these areas, together with restorative and prosthetic dentistry.
Dr. Sara Yassa
Dr Sara Yassa graduated from La Trobe University with a Masters of Dentistry. Before settling at Dr Virginia Williams’ dental clinic, Dr Sara worked in a range of public and private clinics in regional and metropolitan Victoria.
Dr Sara is passionate about empowering her patients in their oral health journey, as she strongly believes the best long-term dental health is a joint effort from the patient and the clinician. She strives to provide her patients with high quality dental care and loves keeping up-to-date on emerging techniques and technology. This is why she has completed her Primary Examination and is a member of the Australian Dental Association, Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, as well as the Dawson Academy. Dr Sara has a particular interest in preventive dentistry, gum management, and tooth wear.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Sara enjoys swimming, sewing, eating crispy croissants and walking her dog Rusty.
