Ballarat Heritage Weekend Presents The Tea Trolley – Ballarat, VIC, 25 May

Come and join the elite to enjoy a quiet and luxurious evening organised by Plate Up Ballarat, at Ballarat, Victoria on Sat 25th May between 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm, at the recently renovated Canberra Hotel.

It is going to be a pleasurable evening for the select few who can spend a leisurely evening over high tea. We serve freshly baked goodies with elegantly served in finest retro china. Go over our delicacies with our high tea.

The auto trolley will be wheeling around, loaded with delicacies like fresh home baked cake slices, which are baked according to old family recopies, reminding you of your grandma’s baking. Other home baked goodies include cinnamon Tea cake, Passion fruit Sponge cake, Ginger Fluff, Jelly cakes, Jelly Slice, Lemon slice, and many more.

Have your fill with freshly brewed leaf tea or coffee, served in elegant retro china.

This is not all. There is also local produce available, showcased by Inglenook Dairy and Creswick Eggs.

Canberra hotel is replete with 150 years of history. The hotel was a one story brick building, slowly growing in importance and enjoyed a varied clientele. It is interesting to go through the journey of the place, culminating in the stylishly designed residential hotel today.

Ballarat is connected through the world by air route. The Tullamarine Airport and the Avalon Airports to Ballarat city will take about an hour by car or you can book Airport Shuttle Bus also.

The train from Southern Cross station Melbourne will take about an hour and a half right in the centre of Ballarat.
